Training & Employment

The TSMFC is providing free coaching in the following short term skill development Training programmes in Technical and Entrepreneurial skills to eligible minority youth (Muslims, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists & Parsis) in the age group of 18 yrs to 35 yrs whose Annual Income is Rs.1,50,000/- in Rural areas and Rs.2,00,000/- in Urban areas with minimum qualification of 10th pass/Inter/Degree through reputed Training institutions under Training, Employment & Placement Programme of the Corporation. The Aadhaar card and Income Certificate issued by MRO is mandatory.

Courses Offered Under Training & Employment for Minorities

  1. IT Skills.
  2. Security Systems.
  3. Pre – Primary Teachers Training.
  4. LMV / HMV Driving.
  5. Beautician
  6. Construction Skills.
  7. Tailoring, Embroidery & Karchob.
  8. Para – Medical courses.
  9. Automobile Repairs & Service.
  10. Jute Products Manufacturing, Tie & Dye, Zig zag.
  11. Air conditioning, Refrigeration.
  12. Plastic Engineering & Technology.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates should belong to Minority community viz. Muslims, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis & Sikhs.
  • Family income should be below Rs 1.50 Lakh p.a in Rural areas and Rs 2.00 Lakhs p.a in Urban areas.
  • Age limit should be between 18 to 35 years for self employment courses.
  • Candidate must be unemployed.

Selection of Training Partners

The Placement linked Training Programme will be organized with the Training Partners empanelled with TASK/EGMM/MEPMA/any Government Organization having affiliations, accreditation recognition with State Board of Technical Education or Department of Employment and Training and recommended by state level committee with whom the V.C. & MD, TSMFC will enter into MoU. In addition, the Training Partners as identified by the District Collectors/District Committee concerned as per the local requirement are also permitted to conduct Training Programme as per the procedure and guidelines communicated.

Procedure for Calling Application from Eligible Minority Candidates and Commencement of Training

  • Inviting applications by publishing Advertisements for the above said course in all the News Dailies by the DMWOs.
  • Scrutiny of the applications by the DMWOs.
  • Preparation of the list and approval of the selection committee headed by District Collector / Chairman.
  • Forwarding the lists to the Training Partners to start the training programmes for the approved candidates.
  • DMWOs of the concerned Districts will monitor the Training Programmes.

Under Training, Employment & Placement Programme, so far (21,639) Minority Youth have been trained in various IT and Professional Skills. Out of which 18061 Trainees have been provided Employment in various Private Organizations and 21639 Trainees are Self Employed.

Community Training Cum Production Centres : The TSMFC has established (10) Community Training Cum Production Centres in collaboration with Minority NGOs in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Jagtial Districts, wherein training on Industrial Juki Machines is being provided to the poor and eligible Minority Girls, Women, Destitutes , Widows, Orphans etc., followed by Wage employment for their self sustenance by the NGOs concerned. So far (5000) Minority women/girls were benefitted with wage employment.
